Hair density is the thickness of the wig. The higher the density of the hair, the thicker the wig will be. For example, 130% density is a very full and thick wig. When ordering your wig, make sure you take a look at the density samples that are provided. If you are looking for a realistic natural looking wig, follow the pattern of your own hair. 18. How do I take the lace wig it off?
A -If you have applied a full lace wig and have baby hairs, clip all hair away from your face. Apply your choice of solvent around the perimeter of your lace wig.
B- Allow the solvent to work through the lace. You should start to feel the lace release. C-Slowly start to lift the lace from your head. You can gently slide your hand underneath the lace to remove it. If it is hard to remove, apply more solvent.
D-Repeat steps until all lace is removed
19. Will lace wigs damage my hairline?
The damage of your hairline depends upon you the lace wig wearer.. If you treat your hairline with care, you will not damage your hairline. Just as you take care of your hair with perms, colors, weaves and braids

The washing of the wig depends on how long you are wearing it and your lifestyle. Most recommend at least once or twice every two weeks.
21. Should I wash my wig while it is still attached?
You should NOT wash your lace wig while it is still attached for many reasons. You are getting your natural hair wet which will not dry properly underneath. If you are wearing a wig cap, you may trap shampoo and dirt in your hair between the wig cap and the lace wig. You also have a better chance of tangling your lace wig, therefore possible damage.

There are many products on the market to maintain the life and moisture of your lace wigs. Products lines such as Avanti, Brandywine, Kenra and Lace Therapy are excellent in helping maintain the life of the wig.
24. Can I use a regular comb and brush on my lace wig?
Wide tooth combs and a wig brush should be used when caring for your wig. A rattail comb or a comb with small teeth will pull the hair out of the lace and may cause bald spots in your wig if you do not comb it correctly.
25. Can I swim with my lace wig?
Yes, but beware. You will need to use waterproof adhesive. Also note that the same damage that chlorine does to your natural living hair, it will do more damage to your lace wig.
26. Can I workout with my lace wig?
Yes. If you work out, you will need to use a waterproof lace wig adhesive.
27. Can I sleep with my lace wig on?
Yes. If you are wearing your lace wig for a period of time, braid or plait your wig and protect it with a silk scarf. Other types of scarves may break or damage the lace wig hair. You may also use a silk bonnet.
28. Will my lace wig lift?
Realistically there will be times when you lace wig will lift. There may be times
when it will not at all. Adhesives will be a trial and error for some. There will be
some adhesives that will work for you and some that do not. You have to find the
combination that will work for you.

No. When fitted properly, your lace wig should not blow off in the wind.

This can be answered many different ways. It really all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Do you want to get a wig right away? Then the in-stock lace wig is the way to go. Do you want the best fit for your wig? Then a custom wig is the answer. If you are looking for special color blends then you want a custom wig. Stock wigs come in average head sizes.

The longevity of your lace wig depends first and foremost on the quality of the wig. Another thing to consider is how much you will wear your lace wig. Will you wear it every day? Occasionally? Wearing it every day may reduce the life of your wig. If you have purchased a quality stock wig and maintain it properly it can last anywhere from six months to over a year. If you are buying a custom made lace wig, it should last longer than a year due to the fact it is not massed produced and made to your specifications.

When you are talking about salon visits for these services, yes. Lace wigs are less expensive than salon visits for weaves and hair extensions. After receiving a full weave and a two week maintenance appointment, you could have bought a lace wig. Weaves are usually last a few weeks before re-tightening. 37. I have a lot of hair. Can I still wear a lace wig?
Yes you can. You can either cornrow you hair going back or wrap your hair. The goal is to make your hair as flat as possible to your head so the lace wig can fit.
38. How do I store my lace wig?
If you wear youru lace wig on a dailiy basis, it is wise to invest in a good wig stand or styrofoam head. If you have several lace wigs , store them seperately in clear storage or hat boxes. It is probably a good idea to label the color, style and length of the lace wig for future reference and buying purposes.
